Blog Post #2: September
What stuck out to me for this next blog post was the idea of perception. How somebody sees the world through their lens of social, political, cultural experience, and the multiple frames of thought stemming from it. It is interesting to think that our perception of the world can also form our identity and how we see our personal attributes as a collective society. Since our social, political, and cultural experience have such a profound impact on how we see the world it only makes sense that we try and adhere to that frame our attributes around them. The amazing thing about perception is that you don't have to travel far to stumble upon one that is totally different than yours. That, in a sense, is what makes the human experience as a whole so interesting and quite fruitful at times for lack of a better word. Sure, we will seemingly always run into people who's perceptions differ in a way you might not understand or enjoy, and that constant sorting through the rubbish makes it worth while when you find someone who who has a perception of the world so gravitating and enjoyable that you want to be apart of the influence.
